To solve this, we typically have the groom get ready in advance of the bride, this allows us to quickly photograph his details, getting ready, and some group photos before heading over to the bridal suite to begin photographing the bride.
For this Knoxville Groomsmen photo, we had a plan in advance. We knew that the groomsmen enjoyed cigars. During the reception at night, we had the groomsmen come outside and light up the cigars. We used an off-camera flash with a creative gel to give them some pop.
