History of Cherokee Country Club
Cherokee Country Club was founded in 1907 just outside of Knoxville, TN, and is regarded as one of Knoxville's premier member-owned clubs. It has served as a recreational home for many generations of families and has also groomed many sports athletes as well as celebrity figures. Cherokee Country Club is located just off of the highly traveled Lyons View Pike and is easily accessible from Kingston Pike.

Cherokee Country Club offers nine outdoor and four indoor tennis courts. If it is a bit chilly outside, the indoor tennis courts feature Nova cushions, professional indirect metal halide, and insulation. The outdoor tennis courts are all HardTru clay and are annually resurfaced. Lighting and seating are also provided. The outdoor tennis courts provide a beautiful valley view that is sure to be breathtaking.

For those looking to compete, Cherokee Country Club is home to the Cherokee Swim Team, ages 3-18, and competes in the Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swim Association (GKAISA)
